What people are saying...
I was able to feel confident teaching all levels of matwork and reformer Pilates with Naomi’s encouragement and guidance. I’ve never felt so comfortable in a learning environment. Naomi challenged me and pushed me to be my greatest!
Sydney Sandor
Naomi is not only a knowledgeable Pilates instructor but also an amazing mentor! Throughout my six months of education, she has been there for the whole class, supporting and guiding us. Even as things got more advanced, she made it feel less tough. Half a year passed so quickly, and I now feel confident, encouraged, and equipped to embark on my Pilates journey. Naomi and I are still in touch; she remains supportive and helpful with any questions I have. Highly recommend!🌻
Arianna Tonetta
Naomi makes everyone feel seen in a wonderfully encouraging way. She's very relatable and brings out things you never thought you'd be able to do and you end up doing it with confidence. She is a fountain of wisdom and I was incredibly grateful to learn from her. She is a brilliant cheerleader and an even better teacher.

WHAT MAKES THIS COURSE DIFFERENT TO OTHER REFORMER COURSES?
The focus of this course is to give you the skills to excel at teaching Reformer Pilates drawing on your own unique style - no cookie-cutter Pilates instructors here!
You will learn the original repertoire as well as a more modern fitness-style approach to teaching Reformer Pilates.
Many Reformer Pilates courses profess to be based on current evidence however they refer to research from the 1990s and 2000s. Evidence has moved on since then and many pilates principles are now outdated and proven to be incorrect, and, can even harm your clients. I am committed to updating the course as current best practise and scientific evidence updates and changes.
WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN CLASSICAL, CONTEMPORARY, AND MODERN REFORMER STYLES?
Classical refers to the full method incorporating all of the Pilates apparatus. Commonly it is associated with Romana Kryzanowska. The repertoire is heavily founded on the original repertoire taught by Joseph Pilates with a balletic focus.
The Contemporary style of teaching Pilates began in the 1990s and was heavily influenced by physiotherapists. There is a protective focus to movement and the repertoire is heavily broken down and not taught in the way Joseph Pilates taught.
A more Modern style of Pilates is now prevalent where the focus has moved on to use the Reformer as more of a generic piece of fitness apparatus to work on strengthening the body and improving overall fitness.
IS THIS COURSE CERTIFIED / ACCREDITED / ENDORSED?
Reformer Pilates courses are not qualifications in the UK as there are no National Occupational Standards or Professional Standards (i.e. Currently in the UK there is no 'Level 3' Reformer course like there is for Matwork.)
I am committed to providing you with the best education according to current best practise and scientific evidence.

WILL I BE ABLE TO GET INSURANCE?
Yes! You can obtain insurance to teach and I would recommend www.fitnesscic.org for those of you in the UK
