Progressive Layers Inspiration

These are examples and designed to spark your own creativity. I have only done one or two repetitions of each layer. When teaching you should do as many repetitions as appropriate for your group and stop at the level when everyone has been sufficiently challenged. Encourage people to stay at a level that suits them on that day.

Special Considerations
Prenatal considerations

Osteoporosis considerations

There is some spine flexion in the upper spine which would make this inappropriate for osteoporotic clients.

Modify by lifting the hips less into a basic shoulder bridge up and down (no spine flexion). Could hold at the top and march the legs.
Place a folded blanket or low block under the shoulders with head on the floor to remove the spine flexion.
